The Cliffs of Moher, County Clare


Located on the west coast of Ireland, along the Wild Atlantic Way, the cliffs run for about 8km. The cliffsโ€™ name comes from the Irish word, ‘Motharโ€™ which means, โ€˜the ruin of a fortโ€™. The cliffs are 214m at their highest point and on a clear day, the Aran and Blasket island can be visible.
