The Cliffs of Moher, Clare

Located on the west coast of Ireland, along the Wild Atlantic Way, the cliffs run for about 8km. The cliffs’ name comes from the Irish word, ‘Mothar’ which means, ‘the ruin of a fort’. The cliffs are 214m at their highest point and on a clear day, the Aran and Blasket island can be visible.
